ERW steel pipe is manufactured by low-frequency or high-frequency resistance "resistance". They are round pipes with longitudinal welds welded by steel plates. It is used to transport gas-liquid objects such as petroleum and natural gas, and can meet various high and low pressure requirements. At present, it occupies a pivotal position in the field of transportation pipelines in the world.

During the ERW pipe welding process, heat is generated when current flows through the contact surface of the welding area. It heats the two edges of the steel to the point where one edge can form a bond. At the same time, under the action of the combined pressure, the edges of the tube blank melt and squeeze together.

Usually the maximum outer diameter of ERW pipe is 24” (609mm), and larger pipes will be manufactured in SAW.

ERW steel pipe application and use: ERW steel pipe is used to transport gas and liquid objects such as oil and gas, which can meet the requirements of low pressure and high pressure.
